Unfortunately like most things, our Mopping Pads don't last forever. We recommend buying a new set with the start of each new season (Spring, Summer, Fall & Winter).

This is likely happening for one of two reasons.

1. You used the Floor Cleaner immediately after refilling. Note, when the concentrate initially mixes with water, it can produce a strong soap smell. This smell usually is dramactically less the following day.

2. You are likely using too much of the cleaner. Try using about half as much in the same size area.

Today floors are made from all sorts of materials including Stone, Hard Wood, Laminate, Vinyl, Tile, Concrete, Marble, Ceramic, Porcelain, and more. In addition, each of these floor types may have different coating for preservation and appearance which can include polishes, polyurethane, expoxy or even an unfinished look. For this reason, some floors require very special cleaners. And while Mr Wittle's Natural Floor Cleaner is designed for the majority of floors in people's homes, it may not work well on certain floor types with very special cleaning instructions.
